Discovery

PetHarbor is a national online database for lost and found animals. Information and images about these pets are automatically uploaded from shelters nationwide and displayed on the site for public use. Current & future pet owners, and rescue organizations use this tool to search for lost & found animals across the United States daily.

The American Humane Association estimates over 10 million dogs and cats are lost or stolen in the U.S. every year. One in three pets will become lost at some point during their life. And with pet ownership rising every year, we are likely to use PetHarbor to help a friend in need, search for adoptable animals, or in a dire situation,  search for our own lost pet.
